    **Official** 2nd Test @Adelaide, 6th-10th December

He literally scored the only century by an Indian batsman that series. Yes, he did terribly in the last two Tests but come on. He needs to be given a fair shot.

I think I recall that James Anderson got his first five wicket haul in Australia using the pink ball.

From reports, it doesn't sound like BCCI is too interested in flying Shami in at all.

    **Official** 2nd Test @Adelaide, 6th-10th December

Gill won't be ready, and Shami will not be flown in either. So: Rahul Jaiswal Rohit Kohli Jurel Pant Jadeja Reddy Deep Bumrah Siraj I still don't love the bowling attack outside of Bumrah, but India does need to bolster its batting since that is its weaker suit. I would consider Akash Deep...

Rank India's test wins in Australia since 2000

This would require a lot of thinking and I’m going back and forth for a few of them. Brisbane 2021 is the only one that’s obvious and doesn’t require thinking given it is the single greatest Test win in Indian history, not just in Australia. Bowled out for 36 in first Test, captain Kohli goes...

    IPL Auction

Gives Freddie Adu..... I, of course, don't know the financial and economic circumstances around, but this type of thing can go horribly wrong if not handled properly just from an emotional and developmental perspective. I would not allow my 13 year old to do this, except the parts where maybe...

Is Bumrah the best cricketer India has ever produced?

If you have an ATG fast bowler, he would automatically rank above both since almost my definition, it means you won more Tests. If you compare the value above replacement of a ATG fast bowler in India vs value above replacement of Tendulkar over the next guy when you're picking an all time...

Yeah definitely stand by my statements in this thread. WAG!

    **Official** 1st Test @ Perth, 22nd-26th November

Absolutely true. I know myself and my personality and proclivities. I eat too much dessert so we don’t keep them in the house on a regular basis. I know I would go to far with gambling so I made a very strict monthly budget for myself that I can afford, and gave my wife full veto power over...

    **Official** 1st Test @ Perth, 22nd-26th November

Haven't figured that part of it out. Except during my drunken delusional phase when I think I'm good at it. Thankfully I have a deal with my wife where I have to ask her before I withdraw money for gambling, and she knows when to let me go and when to cut me off. That's the only time she wants...

If left to my own devices, and if I didn’t have a family; not a very long path for me to be that guy.

    **Official** 1st Test @ Perth, 22nd-26th November

It’s a good thing the next Test until December so I have a new monthly budget for my gambling. I very happily busted my bankroll betting against what just happened this Test.

    **Official** 1st Test @ Perth, 22nd-26th November

Interestingly on my betting site, Australia still favorites to win the next test. Too bad, I thought if india were favorites, I’d lay money on Australia because I think Indian money might have skewed the odds. interestingly, even at those odds, more people betting on India. I want the odds to...

    **Official** 1st Test @ Perth, 22nd-26th November

Australia were like 80-90% to win the series before it started about 70% chance to win the first Test. That’s a crazy turnaround. don’t know howmuch of that isdue to Indian money influx betting on India and swinging it.

There would be an inquiry into BCCI interference in CA selection if they dropped Lyon, Starc and Hazelwood for the next game.

Good partnership here, it’ll be good for them and their confidence for the series. A little worried about letting Smith spend a lot of time in the middle though, just from the point of view of the rest of the series, even though, for this game, it obviously doesn’t matter.

    **Official** 1st Test @ Perth, 22nd-26th November

It took only a few runs for the first wickets, four more runs for the next wicket, and now so many more for the next. Using mathematical extrapolation, Australia should win this about seven down.

For all his faults, and there are perhaps quite a few, but that ain’t one of them. You gotta remember Father Time is, and always will be, undefeated.

McGrath was a freak in so many ways. His action was so perfect and he bowled so within himself - sacrificing the physical effort for perfect accuracy - that I think his body could handle the strains a lot better. I don’t think a Bumrah action and the strain that places on his body is comparable.
