*Official* New Zealand tour of UAE and England 2023

Woakes and Curran are key death bowlers and lower order hitters. Then Rash and Moan as the rest

*Official* New Zealand tour of UAE and England 2023

Ravindra looks like he'll be useful in India. Looks a pretty meh pitch but you basically always need 280 in modern odis. Jos and Stokes getting time at the crease feels a good thing. Brook failed audition badly and Root could do with some white ball runs. Atkinson has a chance to put pressure...

*Official* New Zealand tour of UAE and England 2023

Great win, white ball depth is nuts tbf. Plenty of international standard players not playing and still gubbing decent teams

Great score on a wicket that is sticking and spinning. Kiwi spinners poor especially Sodhi, floating it up at OT

Ish Sohdi goes at over 10 against us, 8s or lower vs everyone else.

    Virender Sehwag vs Kevin Pietersen

Just can't look past how bad Sehwag was in SA, England and NZ. One of the best flat/slow pitch opener ever but so poor when the ball moved.

England's 2005 Ashes side vs England 2023 'Bazball' Ashes side.

I think '23 do have better players but think '05 was a more cohesive unit that excuted in big moments pretty consistently. Wasn't just Aus win, also beat a good saffer side away as well as a half decent windies team away during that period. Strauss Trescothick Vaughan Root KP Freddie...

England's 2005 Ashes side vs England 2023 'Bazball' Ashes side.

05 wins but closer than people would probably think. That team had some ordinary players but seam bowlers would blow this lot away I think, despite them having better batting. Only Tresco was a top player in the lineup really.

*Official* Fifth Test (The Oval, London) 27-31 July

Surprised in the Aussie players/coach crying over the ball so much (sans softlad Khawaja). Would think they should focus on the lack of ability to play a moving ball or some of the get out shots.

    Did you read that wrong?

Does Shai Hope get into an All-Time ODI XI for West Indies ?

Shiv was a really good ODI player. Was a great pacer of an innings. Better than Sarwan imo.

    Mitch Marsh test career

He's still a hack with bat imo. Strikes a great ball but donks down his foot and shoves his hands at ball constantly. Maybe goes ok at home against two dire teams but is he worth persisting with vs Green as you develop for big series in future? Not for me.

Olly Stone is another we can't say we missed via injury as he is always crocked but is a good player. Can't ever rely on him as an option but if he can find fitness he'll be around squads. He was great in India last time at times, being able to get him back would be pretty big

*Official* Fifth Test (The Oval, London) 27-31 July

He played a lot and has some great performances but his numbers are poor. A good bits and pieces/role player maybe, not a bad one. As I said one of my favourites and should be extremely proud of his career, no question. Sticking his hand up for this series when he knew he'd be on a hiding to...

*Official* Fifth Test (The Oval, London) 27-31 July

He should have played at Lords no question. He's like the best player at Lords ever, suppose argument would be with a lack of cricket could he have done 4 on the spin given they didn't know OT would have been a washout

*Official* Fifth Test (The Oval, London) 27-31 July

Have to say I am enjoying the copious amounts of salt. I predicted 3-1 Aus, I overrated their talent level with the bat and some of our players who I still don't rate turned up bigtime (mainly the openers). 2-2 was a decent result at outset and pretty much fair. Both teams could make a decent...

*Official* Fifth Test (The Oval, London) 27-31 July

Nah the decisions have been putrid. 2-2 is a fair result I think. Rain helped us massively yesterday, reckon it would have been over without it our bowlers looked shot. Definitely for both sides at times, us not being allowed to bowl pace at OT (helped us tbf Root was best bowler) when it was...

Yesterday the decisions at the end were beyond a joke. The Anderson LB be gave off his arm was bouncing over another set
