    The return of the domestic season is always welcome. Pleased to see Ashok is fit, playing and taking wickets. We don't have a lot of next generation spinners. Foulkes also picked up where he left off last season. Will O'Donnell with the first century - should he be making NZ A sides now?

    I hope so - a frustrating player as he does look like he belongs at this level. But between the experiment opening the batting, difficulties with any movement on standard 4th stump line, and the tendency to give away starts... that doesn't leave much in between times. He's a classy strokeplayer...

    That is a damn good victory.... and one that is incredibly surprising after the Sri Lanka tour. Unique/bizarre set of events in the first innings but the match still took some winning. O'Rourke and Rachin are stars.
