If a bowler's-end call came it could only have been from the bowler (Henry) as the other infielders weren't as involved. Or it might just have been Blundell only. Anyway, it was a mess all round. Time to introduce some different bowlers, probably.

I choose to ignore that we botched this runout and instead focus on the amazing performance from Sarfaraz. Not a bad hundred either.

Very good win and pleased to see Plimmer and Gaze (i.e. outside the usual Bates/Kerr/Devine) make crucial scores. Plimmer looks like she'll be around for a long time. Think the batting was near to falling over today but 128 was enough, just.

Can't watch for a bit, but despite the dropped catch I love to see the required run rate climb like this. Still tight though. Wicket!

Nice. If we can just get one more that will make WI really worry about the wickets lost.

Looks not enough. But if we just repeat 'runs on teh board' a lot then maybe this will magically be enough.

Great yorker and then awful shot from Devine. Suddenly only 125 might be on.

It looks like an experiment, probably because Mitchell has dropped a bunch at slip in recent times. We don't really have good slips now Taylor and specialist fielder Guptill have retired, aside from Southee at second or third slip.

Were at risk of losing all momentum after those wickets, with two new batters at the crease, but this has been good from Devine and Halliday. Especially Halliday.

It's a relatively minor thing but I just don't know how you perfectly middle that swept six two overs ago like Rachin did. Wasn't full, it was a good length by the time he hit it. Rachin took a long backswing, the full arc, the ball did spin a bit, and bounce, and you're hitting cross-bat. And...

That's an innings I'm really pleased to have watched - the last 40 runs or so have been glorious.

Surprisingly non-idiotic batting from Southee so far today. Southee has pretty dreadful defense tbh, Henry is better which is why I was particuarly annoyed at his shot. If Southee had spent the last fifteen years trying to bat properly and turn his acceptable batting talent to good use, that...

Despite two fours I'd still prefer Henry batting at 8 defend and play for Rachin. Oh there he's bowled. Roll eyes.

Very much failed to have anyone stick with Rachin and accumulate this morning. We might only get another 30 unless some Henry bosh is successful.
