Draft Game - Fantasy Cricket 2024

FWIW I think that could cause more issues than it solves. At the moment everyone knows the category of vast majority of cricketers unless they are a youth prodigy - eg I picked Jaiswal as an OP last year when he wasn't in the DB - seeking clarification that was an okay pick at the time. But...

Draft Game - Fantasy Cricket 2024

Will have a proper look in coming days about who I will release but worrying just over 65% of my points have come from only 3 players - Crawley, Bhurtel and Hasaranga. Been a bit unlucky with Brook and Kohli both missing the England v India Test series I think but still - a lot of my picks...

    ODI Descending Strike Rates Draft

Had initially picked only Warne eyeing Greenidge later but then thought a risk if I end up without him and gives me less flexibility with seamers but good pick to get for batting so late on in draft

Drafting Controversial Players: Cronje, Asif etc.

Couldn't find an example of me picking him but feel like I have a while ago - I certainly have considered him at the very least. It is interesting where we draw the line.

Drafting Controversial Players: Cronje, Asif etc.

I guess I just meant in terms of you yourself thinking you have a good team and not getting votes with Asif (good team in context of draft rules and other teams) vs a less good team without Asif. But lack of clarity is true I guess - certainly times I've been very happy with my team and done meh...

Drafting Controversial Players: Cronje, Asif etc.

Not sure I have heard of him, let alone knew this about him but it makes the characters we are talking about here seem saints in comparison!

Drafting Controversial Players: Cronje, Asif etc.

I think that is a very fair point and one I agree with despite not considering someone like a Cronje myself thinking its likely a vote killer. Do you find any difference (in your opinion) in the number of votes you get with Asif vs without adjusting for quality of the rest of your side vs...

Drafting Controversial Players: Cronje, Asif etc.

What are your thoughts when it comes to drafting controversial players and voting on teams including them. A couple of questions * Do you seperate the person's perceived morality from their cricketing abilities when picking a player. * Would a team including say a Mohammad Asif in a Test draft...

    ODI Descending Strike Rates Draft

I did actually wonder when looking at players at the start of the draft whether to consider him as a possible pick depending on how the draft goes but thought potentially a vote loser. Intrigued now the topic has been brought up as to what people's thoughts are about this? Might set up a thread...
