What do you think of Virat Kohli?

That's bad technique isn't it? Technique isn't just bringing the bat down straight in a forward defensive. It's about judgement too and not defending with an angled bat on the back foot, which Kohli does!

    *Official* T20 and ODI matches

Problem is, Bell is our best player of spin (along with KP), now Morgan's not there. We'll need that out in India. But if he insists on these absurd dismissals for the remainder of this series, you can't take him. He should be one of the great ODI batsmen with his skills. But like Matty Prior...

    *Official* T20 and ODI matches

Woah Woah Woah!!! WOAH!!!! I did not say they will not make it or that they are talentless! All I said, was that everyone wanted a huge revolution post World Cup and to bring in Hales, Stokes, Taylor et al and what has happened? All haven't delivered so far. There's no point picking kids if...

What do you think of Virat Kohli?

Today showed Rahane and Kohli wouldn't have made any difference in the Test series. Techniques of both need sharpening up.

Well played Bresnan, well played Ravinder, well played Craigy. The rest were very poor in that chase. What Ian Bell was doing I have no idea. Is he determined to throw away his ODI career? So much talent! Wasting it! Ben Stokes' innings was horrible. Time to maybe pull him out of the firing...

Best 5 Wicketkeeper Batsman Of Modern Era

He's played some fairly notable match winning knocks for Sussex of late coming in at 5. His 90 odd not out the other week was utterly majestic. A class apart in a line up containing Joyce, Nash and Goodwin. Only 2 other players went past 50 in the whole match! Was against an attack containing...

Best 5 Wicketkeeper Batsman Of Modern Era

Prior hasn't played as just a Test batsman, so we can't really compare that! If Prior didn't have to worry about keeping/couldn't keep he'd still be batting 6 for England anyway and would probably be pushing for an average of 50+! Ultimately, Prior's stats put Stewart to shame in all...

Best 5 Wicketkeeper Batsman Of Modern Era

    1. Adam Gilchrist 2. Andy Flower 3. Matthew Prior 4. Kumar Sangakkara 5. Mark Boucher That is including keeping and batting skills. More emphasis on batting in this era though! Sangakkara only averages 40 as a keeper, so ignore his 70+ average as a non-keeper!

How much can we justifiably use statistics

Cricket without stats is just rounders basically. And I ****ing hate rounders!

So England beat India with only 3 foreign born stars. 1 of which has a British Mum and the other 2 learnt all their cricket here!

Hahahaaa at Ashwin! Never seen such a mediocre player get so excited about a wicket! Ian Bell is such an annoying ODI player! Should be amazing at this form of the game!

Rob Key's sweater is out. Plumb LBW. He will get out like that over and over again, until he learns to bring the bat down straight!

If England score 2 more runs. It will be the "Kumars having gone for 42!"

Is the Condition of the Current Indian Team the Worst Ever In Terms of Injuries?

8 of those names in the 1st post have actually played in this series. England went to Australia in 2002/03 and the following didn't play through injury or got injured on tour! Gough, Flintoff, Thorpe and Hoggard (Missed the whole Test series) Harmison (missed 1st Test injured), Jones (injured...

Best 5 Wicketkeeper Batsman Of Modern Era

Is Matt Prior the most underrated Test cricketer of all time? He is 3rd behind Flower and Gilchrist in the all-time keeper batting average rankings. And yet many don't even have him in their top 5! Some have Mark Boucher ahead of him!??!! Prior is the best post Gilchrist and in 50...

Bresnan is so good at the death. Just can't bowl for toffee with the new ball! India got about 20 more than they should have.
