So the ICC evidence is finally in - and apparently even Glen McGrath chucks...

except he never straightened his arm from a flexed position. any "straightening" is coming from hyperextension

mcgrath never, not once straightened his arm from a flexed position. any suggestion that he did is just sour grapes tbh

i maintain that any straightening of a flexed arm is chucking. straightening a hyperextended arm ala shoiab/lee is fine but straightening from a flexed position is chucking, always has been chucking and always will be in my mind.

So the ICC evidence is finally in - and apparently even Glen McGrath chucks...

i think we're arguing about 2 separate things now. my point is that murali's arm is in a flexed position whereas mcgrath's arm and imo likely the arm of most every other bowler is fully extended and any straightening comes from a hyperextension of the elbow. fully extended arm = (i couldn't...

his arm is clearly in a flexed position, not even fully extended, let alone hyper extended

you're telling me that a guy who apparently couldn't even fully extend his arm somehow managed to hyper extend it? i'm honestly not sure you know what hyper extension is.

people didn't know what hyper extension was? i'm sorry but people have known what hyperextension is since long before the first game of cricket was played. also murali didn't hyperextend his elbow.

it sounds more likely than every bowler over the last 100 years chucking without anyone noticing

flexion isn't the same thing as hyperextension
