***Official*** New Zealand Domestic Season 2008/09

I reckon, we don't want to follow India's lead and start picking players who haven't reached the mark at domestic level because it is not beneficial to anyone. It also sends a crap message to other players consistently performing at domestic level - by seemingly disregarding the entire domestic...

    Opening the batting

Yeah, to add to the above ideally they would need to have a good understanding of where their off stump is and be able to stick around at the crease for extended periods

What team do you play for?

    Hamilton Old Boys CC

Yeah, he should never have opened an innings - he could never build up any momentum in an innings batting in ODI's. Though he continues to play well for CD, there are much more attractive options for a middle order role one feels

Elliott is a quality one-day player and deserves another ODI or two, to say the least. I am convinced his one-day game is of international class. Just I hope a one-day specialist label is left on him..

Bowl-off, or Eliminator over for 20/20 ties.

Yeah, or what happened to the old method of the team who loses fewer wickets wins?

    *Archived* Whatever you like....

Impressive array of screenshots - massive effort with Johnson. I wouldn't mind signing him as a English county and batting him consistently at three and seeing what you can get out of him. Johnson is also quite a sharp bowler in my experience, here is a screenshot of him from my Aussie game...

    *Archived* Whatever you like....

England bet me 2-0 in the Test series - inconsistent batting performances and lack of pentration in the bowling attack were the two underlying factors in the failed series. Though I smashed England 5-0 in the ODI's to give me some sort of revenge.. Fulton still an opener and Bond still in the...

    Spinning

Ha, i've had this same sort of problem all my life. Problem is if you want to change style the captain/coach has quite often already made plans for you to be bowling the style you want to change from, can be very frustrating.

With a few updates on the patch I decided to start a NZ game and the team looks very good. I absolutely raped MCC haha
