Assume it's not an option, unless you can edit that in for me!How about neither and leave it as a Tie
That's my preference too. Both of these options seem pretty farcical to me.How about neither and leave it as a Tie
Brief outline, each team gets one over each. Each team nominates one Bowler and 3 Batsmen. Highest score off the over wins. If the bowler takes 2 wickets no more deliveries in the over. What is an eliminator over?
Yeah, or what happened to the old method of the team who loses fewer wickets wins? That's my preference too. Both of these options seem pretty farcical to me.
It does (or it did) in the MLS as those crafty Americans can't stand draws. Each draw in football doesn't necessarily lead to a penalty shoot-out.
I'm all for ties in women's cricket if it involves creaming contests at the endIt does (or it did) in the MLS as those crafty Americans can't stand draws.
Anyway, I think the best situation to decide the winner in the event of level scores is to have a custard pie fight. Last man standing not covered in custardy loveliness wins, and thus his team is declared the winner.
Think of the stats that could be generated on this! Hit Percentage, Dodge Factor, First Chance Average... The list goes on!
