Weird coming from someone who rates Hayden ahead of Tendulkar.Hayden = Hutton
probably, if Hutton plays his cards right.
Was literally the worst attack ever.I guess 71 needs some applauds unlike 79, considering it was his debut at overseas.
You mean when he was in India?Except yk..... He literally played for World XI based on this single series, and Garry Sobers rated him as the very best batsman he has Ever Seen, very much in this very ****ing series. It's pathetic at this point lol
No he isn't, he's above Ponting but let's not overrate him to Sachin tierGavaskar is Sachin-Lara tier

Lara isn't Sachin tier and Gavaskar isn't Lara tier.Gavaskar is Sachin-Lara tier
Tell me a single reason why you would rate Lara definitely a tier ahead of Sunny, except 99 and 02.No he isn't
99 and 02Tell me a single reason why you would rate Lara definitely a tier ahead of Sunny, except 99 and 02.
Higher peaks and longer periods of relative mediocrity (still better than Viv though)99 and 02
Lara could dominate the bowling in a way Sunny couldn't and when he was absolutely on it, come up with special innings/series that Sunny didn't.Tell me a single reason why you would rate Lara definitely a tier ahead of Sunny, except 99 and 02.
Nah Viv's better than Lara.Higher peaks and longer periods of relative mediocrity (still better than Viv though)
I generally genuinely don't like the dominance argument. Specifically, I don't want my opener to dominate at all, rather play as many deliveries as possible; unless it's someone like Sehwag. Special Series is fair, a big reason why I infact rate him higher, but he also had a longer slump.Lara could dominate the bowling in a way Sunny couldn't and when he was absolutely on it, come up with special innings/series that Sunny didn't.
