Join the forum and fill in the registration form. Sign up as whatever type of player you want and the various clubs will contact you. You don't have to sign for the Stingrays. I, for example, play for the Crusaders. Whoever needs you will contact you fairly quickly.
I am out of credit and too lazy to get it refilled but anyway did you visit reddit?
yep, apologies I didn't read the opening post, I've just seen similar things happen to Aussie players so often I jumped the gun.
Well your cell deserved to be stolen. I hope the one who stole is suffering :D.
    Hey Smalishah,

We are a bit short of players on cricsim. We would love to have you join us at the Stingrays for the coming season.

If you would like to join us then feel free to sign up in the contracts thread and I will ask an admin to move you into our subbie so you can introduce yourself. The cricsim forum has the likes of PEWS, Athlai, Flem etc and a lot of the regular CWers. You make a profile then post in a thread to register as a player for the Stingrays and Pews simulates matches between the clubs which are made up of members. There are regular drafts and other leagues too and not just for cricket. I personally think you would fit the bill for our team perfectly. The comp is a while away yet so you will have time to have a look around and improve your player, participate in various other competitions etc.

If you do decide to join then find my profile over there and i will help you out and show where you need to register etc.

    Thanks, Mike.
Smalishah, it is not acceptable to insult other members; this applies even if you were joking or thought you were baited. You are receiving a warning for this post. In the future, if you have a problem with a post or a member, please report them to the mod team and let us handle it. Feel free to delete this msg after reading, this was the only way we could communicate the warning to you.
Sure. That would be nice. When are you planning to visit?I don't know a lot about Xuhaib though. Is he working or studying?

And i hope Coffee isn't a plan to corner my optimism with your pessimism :P
I've got some serious ego issues with working for an FMCG,so that's not MY cup of tea.

Though a piece of advise - During the final year of MBA,people were applying at selective places. Most of them wanted FMCGs,but when no one could get in,they started looked at other sectors.I think you should apply everywhere, including Banks and the Finance sector in general.Apply at every possible job, every possible recruiter that comes to your university. It's better to be employed somewhere than not be employed at all.You can always shift later.Better to have options than not have any options at all.Being finicky about your first job is not a good option.Though obviously since you're at Lums, you'd have previous work experience.
Karachi is good.Hate the humidity though.I'll probably move back to Lahore in a month's time.Yeah i know,Lahori summers kill.

What sector are you planning to work for?Or have you already been employed?
I joined in August last year as a Management Trainee.Did you apply this time?I'm assuming the people you're talking about got hired in the International Graduate program.
