They have random breath analyzer tests for 1st years in my hostel, apparently. Doesn't stop people from bootlegging and drinking but you have to pay a fine if you get caught. Sad.

That's great news man. Apparently the students get booze from the army canteen right outside the college. You need to bribe but considering it's army price, It's still like 20% lower than the retail price post-bribe. Hope I get good chicken and meat, desperately need it.

Oh, I haven't taken it yet. There are a lot of questions on Step 1 now that require familiarisation with clinical scenarios to arrive at a non-clinical answer. I'd be taking a huge risk taking Step 1 without also going over the Step 2 material beforehand. I've also been cut off from the internet for the past few months, so I haven't had the opportunity to go through the various online question banks.

When are you starting Med school? August IIRC? Where are you going to be?

The preparations are going real well. I had a lot of time to cover a lot of material during the past 3 months. I should finally be done with the steps by March at the latest, I figure.

You probably also need to beef up the conclusion/discussion a little bit as well. I didn't read for understanding, bur rather just for grammar/spelling, but it reads well.

Hope so, haha. Thanks. I don't know atm actually. My Common Law Admission Test results(Admission into the premier national law schools) overall chart comes out either today or tomorrow. If I don't get picked in that, pretty likely considering only the top 2.5% crack it. My school grade will probably get me admission in Mumbai or Pune which has one top 10-15 law school each. Yeah, living on campus, National law schools don't even give the students a choice on the matter iirc.

Terribly worried about the cost though. It's significantly high and taking on such a huge burden just after turning 18 seems a bit scary. Yeah, looking forward to the experience anyway.

Yeah thanks man. More nervous about college in general than worried about ragging. The ragging's usually not bad I hear, especially in the big cities.
