And I guess the most exciting thing I've done in my life is work for the Saudi Arabian military during the 1990s, and be based near the Yemen border. That was some experience.
Elaborate? OK. I manage the Blood Transfusion Service (Blood Bank) at a large hospital in Sydney. We get plenty of trauma which tends to make things 'fun'. So I guess I'm part paper-shuffler, part Immunohaematologist.
Yeah, that's classic insomnia really. It's not that you're not tired; it's that you're tired and know you need extra sleep but just can't manage it. You can get pills to make you stay asleep longer but they really zone me out for the day so I prefer not to take them.
Yeah I was very much the same as that when I was in high school. You can throw off the system by going to bed at 6am though; you don't actually end up sleeping 22-23 hours.

Seriously though I'm a genuine insomniac; I only sleep about 4 hours a day/night and it's often at some completely random time as well. I've always been a bit this way, but it got really bad when I had a girlfriend living in England, and my sleeping pattern has stayed like this post-breakup.
Yes I did I asked a local historian in the end - and Pews also chipped in with the same answer - there has been one - back in the early 80s when the touring Sri Lankans played the Minor Counties - though I'm still not convinced there have been no others but I cba to trawl through CricketArchive
