Having attempted a rudimentary version of what you have done, I can appreciate all of the effort that goes into tweaking the method to make it work. If you are interested in publishing it, with Google scholar nowadays it shouldn't be too difficult to find which journals might be interested in cricket analysis articles.

Hi, I am relatively new here but came across your standardised averages thread and am extremely impressed. Would you consider doing an update with data from the past 5 years? Or somehow publish the method in a way so that people could run it to update when they undertake a statistical analysis?

I have made an attempt at doing something similar but is far simpler as, being a spreadsheet man rather than code writer, i cant generate the necessary data for each player.

This is pretty much what i would i would ambitiously aim for so would love to be able to generate the data.
