Julies friend Diane is complaining about a sore throat. Julie tells her, "When i have that i always give my husband oral *** and the next day I'm better, you should try it."

Next day Diane comes in singing.

"How did it go?" asks Julie

"Brilliant" says Diane "Your husband couldn't believe it was your idea!"
I think my problem was that I'd picked subjects like Chemistry and Maths with a view to doing medicine/dentistry, only to realise once I'd left school that they were of no interest to me whatsoever. If I could go back in time, I'd maybe do medicine instead, wouldn't mind being a surgeon.

Everything happens for a reason though. I absolutely love what I'm doing just now, just a shame it's taken me so ****ing long for me to realise.
Dropped out because I hated the course. I did 2 years of dentistry and I have zero clinical experience whatsoever. First year was dire, we did full body anatomy for some reason (why a dentist would need to know in detail the anatomy of the reproductive system is beyond me, useful in my personal life but still pointless), biochemistry was dull as ****, although at least the labs were good because they linked all the boring crap we needed to know to dentistry.

Second year was worse, it was just more of the same old boring crap with no indication of how what we were learning was in any way useful. The only subject I passed was anatomy, we specialised in head and neck and part of that was dissecting labs 4 times a week, which I loved. The rest of the course was utterly garbage, didn't do well in 2nd year and decided to pack it in.
I've replied to your question in the interview thread. Hopefully it's of some use.
Not bad for a Monday then! Addison should be great, so enjoy your weekend mate.

Cheers, is the only offer I've had so far but Bristol have got in touch to say don't expect to hear anything until Jan-mid March. You had any news?
You have Spotify right? Two Spot Gobi and Imperial Leisure, should give them a little listen imo :)
We'll see a little bit nearer the time I guess. I'd definitely be keen for it though :)
Glad you enjoyed it mate :)
I went and saw Pendulum in Nov '08 and they were awesome, can imagine they were even better again in a festival atmosphere though.
Am definitely hitting a festival somewhere next year! :D
