  • Hey mate, Stanley or Archie Jackson? I would assume Stanley from you, but Fred went for Archie so I'm not 100%.
Yeah good man. The more I think about it the more likely a Verdasco let-down vs. Berdych will occur. When you start crying tears of joy after a win, you're likely not going to be able to get up for the next match.

    He's still long-arse odds!
If I had a time machine I'd have said Fernando Verdasco against Nadal

Verdasco has to be value vs. Berdych but beware the post-Rafa beating letdown.

Azarenka at 1.5 vs. Na Li is nice too.
Admin and HR equally useful and interesting I suppose. But I'm not sure where Public ends and Admin begins - they're the same thing if you ask me.

It sounds as though you didn't enjoy Admin though, which suggests either that it's not the subject for you or that the teaching isn't great. If the teaching is done by the same people, I wouldn't bother.

Anyway, cutting to the chase, Evidence and Discrim sound like a good combination.

As for your compulsory courses, Tort is really important to get your head around. A lot of really important principles that you will use in practice - especially re causation and remoteness. Land Law left me completely cold, and I've never had to use it in my practice, thank ****.
Would be a very un-Wenger like signing imo. His wages are pretty huge, so I very much doubt we'd go near him. M'Vila though, believe that one'll happen.
i had went to bed at that point. the stream had died for me at that point anyway
Yeah was very gutted to be murdered first round with those abilities. Completely forced me to change tact.
One off ability to revive self
One off ability to revive another

After being targeted immediately I knew I'd be dead in the first night or two.
Turning to the 3rd year modules

    - Admin: you will need to do this sooner or later. It's interesting and you will need to have an understanding of basic administrative law principles regardless of the area of law you end up working in.

    - Family: run a ****ing mile and don't look back. Just keep running

    - Human Rights Law: very interesting and ***y stuff but is encountered surprisingly little in most areas of practice. But you do need to have a grasp of it.

    - Jurisprudence: I quite enjoyed it because I had a good tutor, but it's all theory and of no use in practice

    - Commercial Law: never studied it so can't really comment.
    Okey doke.

I wouldn't worry about assessment format at all.

Now before you rule them out, labour law and discrimination law (are they two separate modules or just one?) are good subjects. I didn't study them at Uni but they are now basically the only fields that I practise in these days. There is a slight concern that the Tories want to get rid of huge numbers of employment tribunal claims which obviously would have knock-on effects on the lawyers practising in the field. But it's one you might want to consider all the same. Personally I love it, because there's lots of trial work, lots of appellate work, and a good mix of legal and factual arguments in every case.

Lawyer practice and ethics you can probably forget about, you'll learn all you need to at Law School / Bar School.
