  • Think Tank is such a top album. Can't believe I put it 6th the other day, have been listening to it again and I'll probably put it right after Blur. So much gold in the album.
    Was purely incidental, actually.

I was at Newmarket races and they happened to be playing.
Yeah, immediate critical opinion is a ****er. Established bands usually get away with high ratings immediately after release and then get slaughtered later. Hell I remember Eminem getting a few 10s for the latest **** album of his. There's a site called RateYourMusic.com which ranks albums based on member voting which has ratings fairly similar to my individual ratings. It has Revolver at one and OK Computer at two iirc.
Haha, Fair enough. I don't consider it as much a **** album as say, Great Escape ftr. It had potential to be good IMO. Especially Stand By Me and All Around The World. Completely lacks musical direction though. I don't dislike it because it's self-indulgent though, I dislike it because it's self-indulgent and bad. Too many songs wasted and too long. Imagine Kid A would've had immense build up in Britain? :p

I absolutely love the vocals on All Around The World btw.
Lol, I know. Just found it funny. Should be a birthday thread for Virat Kohli itbt
You described a member as a ****. Avoided the filter by using multiple u's and n's.

I think you've been harshly dealt with, fwiw.
Nice work deleting your post in the Wgat are you thinking thread, ****.

Ftr, his was one of many names that sprung to mind.
Musically it's very good. Love the cello sound.

I'm not a massive fan of some of Noel's phrasing at times tho, especially on some of the vowel sounds and he does stretch them out a bit at times. Liam does the same thing, but gets away with it because he's got a much richer voice.

    Fair stab anyway tho.
It's a long life mate. Man up ffs!

How you been? Got your dress for the wedding?
