The warning was probably a touch harsh because I deleted my message to cut it out when I re-opened the thread and didn't bother to replace it, but yeah, I'm a bit sick of the whole "he's a bit of a dick so we have a right to attack him" mentality that seems to be following him around, from a variety of posters.

Doesn't everyone like our accent? Allegedly the line "Hi, I'm *name*, and I'm from NZ" will get you in bed with more or less anyone overseas. Exception is possibly australia, where it will get you a bloody nose.

By choice, this is waikato we're talking about (hue). The course structure really killed it for me - far too rigid and full of **** I hated doing. Mostly programming which is absolute death. Was definitely worth a shot though, managed to con the uni into paying for my first year anyway which all credits over.
