Who is your favourite cricketer?

Never found anything like Chris Cairns in full flight. Circa 1999/2000 he was in a class of his own. And one of his legs was poked!

And Bondy!

Ironic that with some people it's a year of good bowling, but others it's an anomaly...
Or some day it will be broken by someone that plays two five test series in a calender year against Zim and the Bangles.

James McMillan. He's the perfect example of a talented NZ paceman - a career ruined by injuries.

My favorite cricketer is undoubtedly Graeme Hick. During the 96 world cup in the game vs pakistan i was actually rooting for one of Atherton or Robin Smith to get out during that mammoth partnership just so that i could watch him bat. of course when that did happen, it triggered a major collapse along with an utterly brainless Hick dismissal(coming down the track only to get stumped off Aamir sohail of all bowlers) and England ended up being losing that game.
Other players that i have enjoyed watching over the years has been Dravid, Warne, Bevan, Lara, Ambrose, Jadeja, Gough, Simon Jones and Jonty Rhodes

No, it doesn't, but... doesn't that brilliance with the bat get sort of superseded?
No, not for me, maybe because I didnot know of these things when he batted.

But yet I was a little heart broken when I found out he was on the take.

But he's talking about Dominic Cork...

Then just imagine what people thought when Cronje was discovered.

Err, what?
I said with Dominic Cork he only had 1 year of consistency in good Test bowling.
How is that remotely connected to something being an anomaly?

A sad time for cricket, I wonder if we will ever have the full story, maybe it would be for the best if it remains covered up by six foot of dirt.

IMO it certainly would.
We know enough, now. Leave it be.
As long as we move forward knowing what we're up against, it's best if a line's drawn under the whole sorry business.
