Well, Liverpool fielded their second team against Sheffield Utd...marc71178 said:Right, so where Liverpool have players who didn't play this weekend such as Finnan, Paletta, Garcia, Alonso, Kewell, Crouch and Kuyt, United have Heinze (but then Evra started!), Richardson, Carrick, Fletcher, Miller and Rossi.
I think I know which back-up I'd prefer.
Like Sissoko, Aurelio, Kromkamp, Zenden and Bellamy? One-and-a-halfth team, then.sledger said:not really they didnt...there were plenty of first choice players out there.
from what i have seen of him i have never been convinced at all, from what i have seen huntelaar looks like a much more interesting prospect.Kuyt will fail, mark my words.
Sissoko is a superb player.Samuel_Vimes said:Like Sissoko, Aurelio, Kromkamp, Zenden and Bellamy? One-and-a-halfth team, then.
I concur. He's one of the main reasons Stevie G looks consistently better for Liverpool than he does for England. Didi Hamman being the other.marc71178 said:Sissoko is a superb player.
Last season was meant to be his get used to the club with mainly reserve football, but he was too good for that.
Not much use though when their 1st team can only draw 1-1 at a promoted club with the aid of an extremely dodgy penalty though is it?marc71178 said:Right, so where Liverpool have players who didn't play this weekend such as Finnan, Paletta, Garcia, Alonso, Kewell, Crouch and Kuyt, United have Heinze (but then Evra started!), Richardson, Carrick, Fletcher, Miller and Rossi.

1. Manchester United - if we get one more signing
2. Chelsea
3. Liverpool
4. Tottenham
5. Arsenal
18.Charlton
19.Sheffield United
20.Watford
Last year I called it for Chelsea to win and for United to finish second so this year I'm reversing and hoping for my predictions to come through again.
