Well the easiest way to bring new countries to cricket would be for the UN to mandate that territorial disputes would be settled by the game.FRAZ said:I want Israel to come out big and I want Palestine to be a member and I want them to play each other on regular basis .

These guys could quite feasibly make WC 2011 - Hey, if Bermuda can...Voltman said:Afghanistan. I saw a wee piece on them on Gilette World Sport Special. They beat Essex 2nds and some of the shotmaking was class.
Thats the one I saw aswell, there are really enthusiastic about their cricket and for their spirit and work ethci, they damn well deserve that world cup slot. They need to start playing international cricket like the bermuda's and the canada's etcVoltman said:Afghanistan. I saw a wee piece on them on Gilette World Sport Special. That's assuming they make it through the Asian qualifying rounds first. They get two chances, first this year and then in 2008: in this year's tournament, 17 teams participate in a football championship style format, and the best ranked that's not UAE and Oman (i.e. most likely Kuwait, Nepal or Afghanistan) qualify for the World Division Three tournament next winter. If they're among the top three of the eight then, they're still in with a shout, otherwise they have to go through the ACC trophy again.Neil Pickup said:These guys could quite feasibly make WC 2011 - Hey, if Bermuda can...
