Frustrating and rain interrupted.

Pitch was docile, but not as docile as our attack looked - worryingly it's been the case in all 5 innings we've bowled so far this season (chat amongst my lot was that Rory Burns was the most threatening bowler we've used all season!)

Hove is lovely, what I would call a proper English County ground. And located where it is, rain delays aren't the end of the world.

Hoping to be back down on Sunday, but I'll check the weather and state of the game first - if, as I suspect, this'll be a third dull draw I shan't bother.

Pepper was injured - got hit on the knee or something. Not sure about Cox - he was keeping yesterday. Wonder if it was a request from England to not have him keep.

Edit: Cox’s recovery from the hand injury from last year is still being managed, apparently.
