We do at least agree on this.

The obvious scheduling was India/NZ game on the Friday, then only one team would've needed to fly to Dubai on the Sunday night. It's such a bad look all round. If you want India in the tournament that badly, at least make the scheduling work round it.

Pakistan should've hosted 15 games. They're probably going to end up with just 7 completed matches in their country of which they played in only one (the very first).

You mentioned Australia's efforts against the SL spinners in the Test, I think this is a totally different match up and one I cannot see them winning.

Are we confusing formats. Aus got smashed 2-0 in the ODI's, they smashed Sri Lanka in the tests.

And you'd be wrong. The 2 ODI games vs Sri Lanka were taken seriously as the only ODI games this year for Aus to get the side right for the CT. As it turned out they played Hardie, Abbott and McGurk in those games hoping they'd come good but didn't so all sitting on the bench now

Aus have no chance vs India if they loss the toss and bat 2nd.

Their only chance is toss win and obviously bat first.

Aus by 120 runs or seven wickets. Won’t be close. India are pretenders when it matters most.

Just can't see it in Dubai. NZ have a better ODI spin squad and they couldn't get the job done. India will have 4 high quality spinners, Aus have 1.

This is more like the ODI's in SL and they didn't end well.

I think complete opposite, they'll want revenge for both the World Cup and BGT, and they get a bunch of second string seamers on a turner to do it against. If it was a Final they might choke, but they didn't in similar circumstances in the T20 semi against England.

Agree with your second point . It is easier to beat Aus in a SF than in a Final. So if we can’t beat them in semi then we had no chance in Final.

Hmmm, who to cheer for here? I want Pakistan to get to host the final but if all else were equal I'd prefer India advancing to Australia.

I find it best to support the team who will have an asterisk against them no matter what if they win it.......apart from when Australia were ball tampering obvs.
