10th Match - Afghanistan v Australia

If 20 overs aren't bowled it'll be a no result. Runs/wickets taken doesn't matter I don't think if it doesn't qualify as a 'match'
Agreed. But if they end up with half an hour to play and Aus have a target to get in 20 overs, it's probably not much more than what they've already got.

Oh for sure - course a bit moot as same result if Aus win or NR recorded, so don't think any hairs will be split this day.

It looks like the Aussies will get through to the semis whether this is a another washout or not so there will be two dead rubber games on the weekend.

For Afghanistan to qualify:

England will have to beat South Africa by at least 207 runs if they bat first. If they bat second, they will have to chase down the target within 11.1 overs (assuming a first innings total of 300 in both cases).
Dream still alive.

So Australia are through to the semi finals with one win and two no results.

Hopefully we get them in the semi finals, they will be short of match practice.
