6th Match - Bangladesh v New Zealand

Silver Silva

International Vice-Captain
What's the best SWENA ODI XI of Asian ethnicity?

I'll go with

1.Hashim Amla
2.Shivnarine Chanderpaul
3.Rachin Ravindra
4.Ramnaresh Sarwan
5.Ravi Bopara
6.Nicholas Pooran (WK)
7.Moeen Ali
8.Adil Rashid
9.Ravi Rampaul
10.Saqib Mahmood
11.Imran Tahir

Not bad !

I see Jamieson is listed to come in at Number 11. I assume that's an error , unless his batting has really fallen away since his injury?

Athlai

Not Terrible
Even Henry ahead of him would be quite a fall for the guy whom people thought could replace CdG at 7 in the test side.
Well that was pretty wishful thinking, hes an okay 8 but would be an absolute nose bleed of the highest order beyond that

Athlai

Not Terrible
10th equal for most NZ ODI hundreds, most 100s for NZ in ICC tournaments now with 4 (Astle and Kane 3 each) 13th equal for all teams in ICC tournaments

King Kane

International Vice-Captain
Ravindra saves his best for the big stage, another ton in an ODI tournament.

A good support role from Latham as well playing second fiddle, he's in form.

wellAlbidarned

International Coach
4 hundreds in 11 digs. Most hundreds for NZ in ICC tourney's and he's barely 25. Unreal.
it's insane because he gave every indication of being one of those long term project players who shows glimmers of talent but takes until his late 20s to tighten up his game but he's just come in and bossed it immediately

Aritro

International Regular
I think our bowling in ODIs has actually regressed while the test bowling has come on in leaps and bounds. Shakib's white ball bowling is a huge loss and Miraz hasn't been up to it for a while.
