it's hilarious that they had to take rachin's broadcaster profile pic with a bandage on his forehead

like wouldn't you have taken the photos earlier or photoshop it out?

Lol that’s just complacency from Latham.

This is the sort of lax cricket that allowed AUS back into that group game at Eden Park in 2015, after which Starc took over. Just get the job done FFS.

It was a call back to this when we needed 90 runs off about 25 overs
There was still around 100 runs needed when I made that call and Phillips is struggling at the moment.

Now Latham has been run out, thankfully we should still win this anyway but if Ravindra got out when I made that call we would have been in trouble.

We bat to 10 though

Macewell's ODI batting record is interesting. He has the early match-winning hundred against Ireland and the freak 140 against India in Hyderabad two years ago. So if he comes in early after a collapse, he is capable of going big - at his best he is absolutely destructive. More commonly we want him to hit a quick 30 or more to ice an innings. If you include T20s too he's done that only a handful of times - the best example was 59(33) vs Sri Lanka at home. A few 20s in there. But not quite as much icing as you'd like, yet.

I'd love to see a few 40(25) from him this tournament.
