He certainly left Ramiz wondering for a while.Temba at the toss had no idea where to stand and what we were going to do![]()
Does that count as a Nelson?de Zorzi 11(11) plays a horror of a shot to Nabi 1-0(0.1) @SillyCowCorner1
Certainly notDoes that count as a Nelson?
Haven't seen Rassie play for some time. Any idea why he didn't play the warm up games?Don't like having Temba and rassie at 3&4. Would have Stubbs instead of Tony.
Warmup clashed with end of SA20 and his side won the competition.Haven't seen Rassie play for some time. Any idea why he didn't play the warm up games?
It's quite an old batting lineup with Temba, RvD and Miller all into their mid 30s. It isn't a bad lineup but you might think they would want to integrate one or two younger players post this tournament in ODI cricket ahead of the next world cup.Something I've only just realised, Bavuma (as his caption showed his age as he came out to bat) is older than Root.

I was even surprised by Rickelton's age, had assumed he was like 23/24, but he's actually 28.It is a debate that's been going around.
Bavuma, QdK, RvD, Markram, Klaasen, Miller has been excellent in ODIs but next WC is questionable for all of them.
Rickelton, De Zorzi, Breetzke, Stubbs have been getting opportunities and I suppose we will see Pretorius, Brevis & others too. But there are so few ODI games now.
Yeah, I guess though I prefer there being a little too few ODIs than the old 5 or even 7 game series there used to be until the 3t20s and 3ODIs that many tours now consist of. However, it is harder to identify which mainly t20 or mainly test players have the transferable skills for 50 overs. It is a debate that's been going around.
