Very difficult position for Nyika to be in, taking the fight on 3 weeks' notice. Obviously not ready for that type of fight at the pro level, and also not coming off a proper camp or being physically ready.

But if he'd turned it down he may have never got another opportunity like that.

Really brutal sport tbh. That knockout could be career ending.

True, heard some people say its a relatively risk free fight for him because he took it at such late notice , but getting finished like that isn't exactly ideal to say the least. We won't see him for a long time sadly.

Hugely enjoyed the Benavidez v Morrell fight.

I hope he gets the Canelo fight, but seems unlikely, Canelo v Crawford seems certain and worryingly some rumors Canelo might use Jake Paul as a warm up 😭

So erm Chisora v Wallin next. Chisora is something like 3.0 aka 2/1 with the bookies, I know he's washed but Wallin gets way to much credit for the Fury fight and always a chance of a home town robbery. Its going to be ugly folks.

Canelo v Crawford off it seems.

William Scull and Jake Paul it is for Canelo then

Ahhh! Forgot all about this, Wallin is an absolute ****ing fraud IMO.

WAR CHISORA 😭

Probably about the 8th time in his career that Chisora should have been disqualified for low blows.

Will never get called in the UK.

But Wallin really showed nothing so it's hard to really care.

Predictions:
- Beterbiev vs Bivol rematch.
think Beterbiev will be aware that he needs more activity. I don't know if there is much more Bivol can do, but there are adjustments that Beterbiev could make. Will go with the old man here.
- Dubois vs Parker.
This is all about punch output. Parker has averaged 25 punches per round in his last 2 fights. Dubois has averaged 45. Unless somehow Parker has gained Zhang type power, I really don't see how he keeps Dubois off him. He's not really a slick defensive fighter and his back foot game is prone to many defensive mistakes.
Think this will be a career ending knockout. This could be brutal IMO.
- Zhang vs Kabayel
Kabayel is a younger, fitter, more hungry version of what Parker was. I think he can weather Zhang's early power and I suspect that he will stop him late.
- Ortiz Jr vs Israel Madrimov
I think Madrimov will school and possibly stop Ortiz Jr. I think they have bitten off more than they can chew here.
- Callum Smith vs Joshua Buatsi.
I'm not particularly a fan of either guy. But Buatsi should beat Smith if he is anything approaching world level. The Smith brothers are some of the luckiest people ever with the paydays they have received
- Obvious Stevenson will win his fight in boring fashion
- Sheeraz probably murders Adames

Yeah its tough to disagree with the above.

The obvious calls are Shakur winning blandly and Buatsi winning as Smith is washed . Adames is decent, but Sheerez has serious power so yeah ko.

I am a little surprised that Ortiz is fav with the bookies so might have a play their.

Zhang v Kabayal is very interesting, Zhang is 50 years old, slow , takes rounds off and Kabayal is slick but the German's best win is Chisora. It was cool how Kabayal handled Sanchez and that Russian lummox but has he got the chin to handle the bombs that Zhang will get through?

Beterbiev probably edges the main event, and the more I think about it, I think Dubois could do a demolition job on Parker.

Watch the Kabayel Chisora fight or the highlights.
This is many years ago when Chisora was still a live dog - Chisora was 33 at the time.

Kabayel outboxed him almost easier than Usyk did, and much easier than Parker did it. Not too many people make as light work of Chisora as Kabayel did.

Largely agree. The blueprint for how to dismantle Parker is there for all to see in the Joyce fight, and one tends to suspect that Dubois will wade through Parker's shots and take him out, quite possibly in the first 3 or 4 rounds. If Parker had gone into this fight light I might've given him a chance to use his superior hand speed and footwork to frustrate Dubois and gradually drag him into deep waters. But with Parker likely to weigh 255+ I don't see him having much of a chance.

I have never felt that Parker's footwork was very good. Yes, he has fast hands, but he has always made lots of technical errors with his footwork, and has consistently gased after round 5. That's been evident since as far back as the Takam fight, and never got corrected. I doubt that it's going to be any better now that he's the same dimensions as Kees Meuws.

You can get away with it against low output fighters - Zhang and Wilder and Ruiz are the lowest output fighters in the division. Dubois is not a low output fighter and the jab will also be brutal if Parker is backing up. Parker will not be able to win this from the outside, boxing on the back foot.

Parker's only chance in winning this is if he can stand close and outbox Dubois from within the pocket. Usyk did this. Parker did it mostly early on against Whyte, but lost his confidence after the headbutt. Needless to say, he is not Usyk, and also he is not southpaw so the jab will still be there for Dubois. Parker will have to stand right in front of Dubois, get underneath the jab, work him to the body and constantly change angles. It's not impossible, but you'd need to be supremely fit, very fresh and confident and I don't think that's Parker.
