I think it was the Dhananjaya dismissal in the first innings of the first Test which looked horrific; I find it very hard to believe that could be just overextension and I definitely think he got an advantage from chucking on that particular ball by the way he was able to adjust his length and pace so quickly mid-action.

I know this game is basically a warm-up for the CT, but i'de have loved to see this batting lineup instead of the one we picked today:

1.Head
2.Inglis
3.Hardie/Short/Mcgurk (If we're determined to play one of them)
4.Smith
5.Marnus/Carey
6.Carey/Hardie
7.Maxwell

If he’s that good at chucking then why is he only a slightly above average club bowler in Australia?

Maybe he’s just a guy with a somewhat questionable action (he’s definitely no worse than others) & the Sri Lankan batsmen are trying to deflect attention from their inept performances

Don't do that, we as Australians are better than the rest. If we have a chucker we should be calling it out, not trying to deflect blame or change rules or threaten to go home from tours. And Kuhnemann is a chucker. He never should have been picked in the first place, which I, personally, have been saying for a while.

I think the point is hyperextension means its not voluntary and also, hyperextension or not, the legal limits are always the 15 degrees. People were found to be in that range, hyperextension or not. From McGrath to Murali...
They need someone to blame for Kuhnemann, it's just copium

Whatever it takes!!!

Leaving aside the usual bigoted idiots like social and tjb, no rules were changed JUST for any bowler. EVERY bowler was found to be flexing their elbows anywhere between 5 to 15 degrees. The scientists who did the study suggested 15 degree as the limit as it seemed like the point where the flex was more visible to the naked eye. So a law that was criminally wrong all along was finally changed into something fair.

This standard of international bowling attack reminds of that one ODI tour of South Africa around 2016 when we had Mennie/Worrall/Tremain

How many unavailabilities has it taken for Ben Dwarshuis to take the new ball in an international? 10? 12?

Ok, but banning multiple players for a year (including the captain who wasn't directly involved) when the standard punishment is a 1 game ban, if anything, for the 1 player caught, was a bit excessive
