and it's not like he made his 192* against rookies, it was against Prasanna (averages 26.9 at home), Bedi (averages 24 at home) and Venkat (averages 30 at home). also, Chandra bowled infinitely better in the West Indies series than he did in the India series.

It's true.

What's more likely:

A top tier batter of all time with no issues against good spinners his career struggles against Warne?

Or Warne with issues against top tier batters of his era and other quality players of spin struggles again Viv?

Don't pretend we can't have any idea how it would play out.

Imo, Warne would claim before the match that he has a mystery ball, but then he'd bowl 10 leg breaks in a row, Viv would be bored and then just get himself out playing all around a straight ball because he was expecting a double spinning flipper zooter magic ball. Viv would average 15 if he got a few lucky slogs in.
