Which team would win

Johan

International Captain
Viv might just turn into a T20 Merchant....
who knows, Warne might finally gain the balls to match fix in the modern setup.

Holding and Lindwall are around equal, slightly ahead of Trueman. Lindwall>Trueman I am particularly firm on
Yeah piss off, the way you rate Trueman, you NEED to have Holding a whole tier above, anything else is silliness.

Lol if you think Hunte can tie Trumper's shoe laces.
Trumper's record as an opener isn't particularly impressive, considering the person I was responding to who is Coronis who didn't even include Trumper as his opener, you need to shut up.

Johan

International Captain
To try to not be so obviously biased. But you didn’t slip it past me!
Biased why? I did acknowledge the spin advantage of Australia and how it would effect an encounter between the teams, do you want me to say Australia wins every match because Warne to not be biased?

Johan

International Captain
Pretty sure Viv would struggle against Warne. After all, he never faced such a great spinner and not very reputed player of spin.
that's really him being unlucky, in the Lara vs Tendulkar vs Viv against spin thread, we saw how it was easier to point Tendulkar's flaws and struggles against certain elements of spin bowling then it was with Viv

Nah I don't think you really rate Hunte over Simpson as well. Surely given you rate Gooch ahead, don't think Greenidge is hugely better than Hayden.....

You need to play to point flaws in. You can't point to flaws of Kurtis Patterson against express pacers.

Won't be too fond of McGrath then. Can't see him handling Lillee in SA as well
Yeah but I can see him playing these guys well in England or in West Indies or on a slow Indian pitch, I can't generally see Hayden play Marshall well anywhere bar a 2000s Australian road.
