Yep, they would be better served with Zamps(Adam zampa) as a wrist spinner
so you have 3 quality options
1. Off spinner- best in the game currently- Lyon -
2. Left armer- Kuhn- the Aussie Jadeja
3. Wrist spinner - Leg spin- Zampa- he has won 2 world cups - dont worry about lack of red ball.

I obviously don't know **** about bowling spin but one thing I noticed with Murphy is that he only seems to use his index fingers to spin the ball when normally most finger spinners use both index and middle finger to grip the ball. Does that make a difference in terms of revs he put on the ball, I don't know

Yeah, this was my take. He doesn't seem to bowl with any flight. You can very comfortably lean on anything resembling full, and go well back on anything short. I was surprised to see how he bowled so flat. It wasn't quick flat, either - just darts. The wicket he got, Karunaratne lost his mind, given it was a new ball and Murphy hadn't done anything but bowl non-spinning darts.
Are we talking once the game has started? Because he's still a chance if someone rolls an ankle in warm-ups.
Depends who you think has the better run output down there. A lot would argue that's Webster, would they not? You've already got a tonne of spin options with Kuhnemann, Lyon, Murphy (if he's not dropped), Head, Smith if he decides to bowl, Marnus etc.
