No 1 fast bowlers in last 50 years

U19 12th Man
50 years is 5 decades.

You should look at records ( home, away, over all -- all three but more empahsis on away to not pick HTBs ) for 8-10 years periods taken together. Each generation will have a stand out bowler and a 2nd best in that generation. You will be left with 10-12 total bowlers. Best bowlers in any longer periods won't be outside of these 10-12 bowlers in the last 50 years.

No point in looking at smaller chunks like 2 years or 3 years. Then you will start finding that XYZ was rank 1 for 1-2 years. Best bowlers shoudl have good over all records ( home, away, against top teams, against top teams away). Last one(away agasint top teams) only tier 1 pacers will have.

70s 2nd is Roberts imo.
Wasim over McGrath for the 90s
Pollock was finished in the 2000s. Will go for Akhtar honestly
