Why does almost every single batters entered their peaks during the 2007-2011 period?

Is it because they were as good as Sachin or.....?
Two things can be true at once. Sachin was genuinely great at that time (in fact he achieved no.1) and it was a batting friendly era where others also scored.

Not even close

Viv(82-88) : 57 Tests. 3591 runs @ 46.9. 10 centuries
SRT(02-11) : 96 Tests. 7869 runs @ 54.27. 24 centuries.
Exc Zim/Ban : 90 Tests. 7067 runs @ 50.47. 19 tons.
pitches are so flat that Viv probably wins on the number alone, but I meant 2003-2011, post the numbers of Sachin against top sides in that timeframe

Why do you say when you posted that he averaged 40 plus?
Highway tracks are destroying test cricket, same for highway knocks.
So for the sake of test cricket life, we should avoid the highway knocks,
Kohli is still getting immense hate for the ahmedabad knock.

@BazBall21 do you have Smith and Sachin's numbers in sub average RPW games?
Kimber's video had match factor comparisons throughout. In low avging games Sachin had a better match factor to Smith, despite probably having a slightly better batting line up and worse bowlers in his team. However, on batting friendly wkts Smith's match factor was much higher

so it's the exact opposite of the narrative Narayana tries to push of Sachin being a flat track bully

Kohli 2014-19 ~ sachin' 1989-2002
Kohli's 2020-25 > sachin' 2022 dec - 2007.

Till now Kohli is better, Just one peak is needed to destroy the legacy of Sachin.

Between after 205 innings sachin Tendulkar's AVG is 47. 93 without those 3 highway death of test cricket knocks ,

Just little bit difference ,
😂😂😂
No way, Kohli also played on a bunch of flat wickets from 2014 to 2017, such as the 2014 BGT and the 2016 Eng series, and he heavily thrashed a minnow Lankan team. When it comes to test cricket, there is no comparison between Sachin and Kohli. Sachin is far superior to Kohli. Furthermore, Sachin was successful against a lot more ATG bowlers in the 1990s.

Don't be blind man majority of late 90s pitches were flat,
Jan 1997 -1999 dec
Sachin Tendulkar averaged 67 ,
De Selva averaged 66
Newbie Dravid averaged 60+ away from home,
And another 3-4 batters averaged 50+ during 97-00 period.
97 sl vs Ind is saw the highest ever test score.

He also said this is because Steve Smith playing so many games compared to sachin in bowling friendly pitches.
Watch it again.

So 90s era india had strong batting line ups according to you.
Because majority of Times in 00 era, whenever there is a collapse, sachin was also the part of it , and Rahul Dravid often played vital knocks in those collapse that's why many indian still rates Rahul Dravid as the best test batsman.

You can't avoid their top scoring knocks for one and not the other. Especially if any helped lead to a victory.
