I wonder how he’ll be viewed after his career if his average drops to 49/48. I feel like his rating will drop over time and future generations may not rate him as high. Hopefully he can keep it above 50.

Agreed. Will probably be rated below Dravid by most if he averages 49 but will still be rated as a genuine great.

Cummins definitely makes it for me already. Bumrah needs just a bit more longevity I think. Anderson is borderline because of his WPM.

Yeah exactly what I think. But if he ends with some Good performances, I feel like he'll be rated higher than Sanga/Kallis/Dravid.

Cummins dismissed Root 30% of the times and Donald with Sachin 25%, fairly even stevens I reckon

As of now, I rate Bumrah ahead of Cummins. And Bumrah imo requires about 50ish wkts more for me to rate him as an ATG. Cummins just can't be rated ATG before Bumrah for me

Yea 50+ average makes a massive difference for most people. 49 and you’re automatically below the 50+ ATGs for them.

He averages 60 in india and sl. Can understand that during 23 bgt he had personal problems so would give him pass. Hope he does well in 27 bgt
