I snap voted Viv, as I expected "better Test bat."

As a cricketer it's almost impossible to compare. I think it would probably be about even with the wicketkeeping contribution. Possibly leaning Gilly because of the rarity of his skillset combination.

As a cricketer Gilchrist has more complete in skill set. Gilchrist is one of those batsmen who is as intimidating as Viv and has almost same ER as him, and dominated fast bowling equally.
