So often without even trying to produce it there is a little something for bowlers on our coastal wickets even for T20s.

It's why I think those wickets in USA/Windies T20 WC suited us & we got to the final. Our players are used to it.

Ashton Turner joined alongside him as replacement players. Only gone for behrendorff today.

One of those things you can't control. Joburg & Pretoria have unfortunately had an unusually wet summer.
Durban is tropical so always a risk there.

Think it's the big auction next year. Interesting to see the evolution as we go along.

Faf & Tahir still holding their own of the senior players. Not quite there for D Pretorius & Wiese either.

RR hasn't done in SA20 and we are in the third season. Think he has one good innings in each of the first two seasons.

When PC won the toss I was nervous as PC had Behrendorff and Crawley and Abell are useless against quality. Markram excellent and got SEC to 149. Jansen and Dawson very good. Baartman got the team to the bonus point. Still think Harmer is too expensive only getting a wicket to Stubbs excellent keeping. 2-0-21-0 before the wicket. Three wins with 3 bonus points. One point behind the leaders.

SEC are showing the value of having a settled team and game plan. Backing their best players to come good. Marco Jansen is in some form recently. His batting has impressed me recently. I wonder if that innings against Pak in the 1st Test gave him a huge confidence boost.

Really liked the look of him as well. Looked busy and very organised against spin & seam. Just need to see his boundary hitting ability now.

Something isn't right still. That Crawley/Bedingham opening partnership & Jordan Hermann has to be in the top 3. Patrick Kruger still got an injury I presume.

Harmer has done decently over these 3 seasons but always been a better longer format spinner.

That is actually the issue with him in this format. His methods of bowling don’t translate to this format.
