Sachin is a top tier batsman and in contention for the best since Bradman.

One is a lock for an AT team, the other is often on the outside looking in.

This isn't a good measure to decide a cricketer rating. Wasim features more than McGrath by this standard, is he a better bowler?
Wasim isn't the ones he competing with.

Actually Wasim is the one competing with Imran, so do with that what you will. But strange since you think Imran was the better batsman and bowler.

But again, Tendulkar is a top tier bat, Imran isn't a top tier bowler.

Yes interesting how you don't respond to the argument.

Is Wasim better than Hadlee for making it into your ATG XI?
Hadlee isn't the one he's competing with.

The ones who make it ahead of Hadlee are better, even if slightly.

Tendulkar is a lock.

Again, not the only person to raise the point.

That wasn't your standard. Your standard to devalue Imran was saying he looks at the ATG XI from the outside.

Aside from being untrue, that also applies to Hadlee. Not Wasim though.
Tendulkar. An elite top tier batsman, Imran not in the top tier as a bowler.

Tendulkar also a lock for any AT team, including mine, while Imran more often than not, is left looking in from the outside.

You didn't address the argument. You are just repeating yourself.

Wasim is a near lock in an ATG XI. Hadlee isn't a lock in an ATG XI. Neither is McGrath. Ergo Wasim is better by your reckoning.
