Hetmyer is a designated finisher now. The hope of him playing test cricket again is nearly gone. Ironically, the keeper in the 2016 U-19 WC winning team is playing his first test match

I was just going to comment something along these lines. I remember watching Hetmeyer in Tests a while back and he actually looked technically good against spin. He had an impulse problem because he kept wanting to hit sixes but I guess FC cricket is not on his forecast now.

Yep I imagine this is his last series as captain at a minimum. Not sure Sammy is his biggest fan and his numbers are awful, just like the rest of our batting lineup.
