should be fairly decent I reckon, both guys pretty similar in bowling but Boult having an extra yorker, both have a great home record and a little questionable away record but Boult has performed in England (pretty similar to New Zealand) while Kapil in Australia and the Carribean.

comparision is strictly in bowling. Test cricket.

If Luffy does the list he'll probably include the Ghavris, Amar Singhs and Mohammad Nissars of the world

Why no Gary Bartlett, Shayne O'Connor, Iain O'Brien, James Franklin, Kyle Mills etc?

This is a very Indo-Centric list. Apart from Bumrah all the Indian bowlers are far too high.

Also HOW is Simon Doull 28th? Go to YouTube and watch his 7-fer against India. Watch his delivery to Nasser Hussain. He bowled very weak NZ sides to test wins in SA and Pakistan in the mid 90s.

Why is Neil Wagner so overrated on this forum?

When we will talk about NZ cricket between 2010-2025, the names that will be remembered and the order would be :-

1. Kane Williamson
2. Trent Boult
3. Ross Taylor

Then you probably have Tim Southee, Brendon McCullum and Tom Latham. Then Neil Wagner. Wagner not only was the third wheel of that NZ attack but also had lower sample and wickets tally. It is always the new ball bowlers who are the main bowlers in an attack barring 1-2 exception in entire cricket history.

Not counting Rachin Ravindra or Daryl Mitchell in it as their career is more in 2020s.

You forgot BJ Watling.
Re tests

Williamson
Watling
Wagner
Taylor
Boult
Southee
McCullum

Talent wise Jamieson and Ryder should be at the top, but for different reasons didn't/haven't played enough.

Neil Wagner bowled longer spells than Boult and Southee, was more of a match winner, and would've walked into every other team in the world. They wouldn't have.

Wagner arguably has the best record of the trio against the top teams during his career. I mean he went over to australia, averaged 22 with the ball, and dominated Steve Smith.
