He is a one trick pony. Boult and Southee are masters of conventional swing and have achieved success over a longer period of time. Wagner is a supporting role bowler who relies on his short pitch strategy mostly. You forgot BJ Watling.

Talent wise Jamieson and Ryder should be at the top, but for different reasons didn't/haven't played enough.
Neil Wagner bowled longer spells than Boult and Southee, was more of a match winner, and would've walked into every other team in the
world. They wouldn't have.Wagner arguably has the best record of the trio against the top teams during his career. I mean he went over to australia, averaged 22 with the ball, and dominated Steve Smith.
Overall, maybe. Just played 17 Tests and had a glass body though.Shane Bond terribly under-rated in these lists too in my eyes. I think people forget the amount of games he did actually play and the impact he had across all three formats. Still NZs second greatest ever bowler after Hadlee for me.
He was usually the best of the 3.He is a one trick pony. Boult and Southee are masters of conventional swing and have achieved success over a longer period of time. Wagner is a supporting role bowler who relies on his short pitch strategy mostly.
Bond was so damn good I'd bet my life on him being an ATG if he played a 100 tests tbhOverall, maybe. Just played 17 Tests and had a glass body though.
He might just. So is Jamieson. But they didn't, and not a big fan of glass cannons.Bond was so damn good I'd bet my life on him being an ATG if he played a 100 tests tbh
I agree, just saying Bond was ludricous to watch. He might just. So is Jamieson. But they didn't, and not a big fan of glass cannons.
short career and a support bowler. Had no skills with new ball.He was usually the best of the 3.
