both he and his brother are a pair of weapons grade dickheadsJamie. It's happened in at least one and maybe two BBL games this summer where he's decided to openly just pick a fight with one of the batsmen out of sheer frustration when he's having a **** game - first Finn Allen on NYE when he was putting in a Marcus Harris tier performance, then tried having a massive go at Tim David in a game last week... right after he'd been hit for 25 off an over. Funny but also quite odd.
Surely, if everyone boycotted the Afghanistan team they would win the trophy not just reach the SF, as if there was a "unified and collective approach" they would win the SF on the same basis and thereafter likewise the Final.Agree on the principle, but in practice if Eng, Aus & SA all agreed to, they'd be handing Afghanistan one of the semi spots assuming forfeiting would give AFG 2 points for each forfeit & hence hurting their own semis chances. Very different to NZ forfeiting against Kenya in the 2003 WC because I think they were the only team to do so.
Edit: I see others have made the same point.
which of englands 'top players' aren't there?Aus and South Africa for me
England top players don’t play this format so I think we will be going home before the Sfs
They are all there but none play any 50 over cricket in the county gamewhich of englands 'top players' aren't there?
yeah fair. the lack of 50 over cricket played by Root et al has certainly played a big part in englands fall as an ODI side. They are all there but none play any 50 over cricket in the county game
Salt said he wanted a 50 over competition in England
there is one but the likes of him and the other stars don’t play as they are playing in the pointless hundred
England will just play this as an extended t20
Head, Maxwell, Short all bowl quite a bit. So, one specialist is sufficient.I'm shocked as I thought Connolly got selected for everything
Really don't understand how Stoinis got another ODI gig. And only one front line spinner for Pakistan (or UAE)?
Not if Zampa gets injuredHead, Maxwell, Short all bowl quite a bit. So, one specialist is sufficient.
Evidently CA didn't take the last World Cup seriously either.Stoinis getting selected is a clear sign that this tournament isn't being taken seriously by CA so I don't think I will either
Yeah I don't think it's them not taking it seriously. If so they probably would have wanted to have a look at someone new. They just mistakenly still rate him.Evidently CA didn't take the last World Cup seriously either.
Yeah I'm not being serious when I say they aren't taking it seriously - I am being kind of serious when I say it's a marker for me not to take it seriously though.Yeah I don't think it's them not taking it seriously. Should've picked Dan Christian.
Serious stuff.Yeah I'm not being serious when I say they aren't taking it seriously - I am being kind of serious when I say it's a marker for me not to take it seriously though.
Welcome to being a fan of the England limited overs side circa 1993-2015.Yeah I'm not being serious when I say they aren't taking it seriously - I am being kind of serious when I say it's a marker for me not to take it seriously though.

its only a few games the champions trophy. 6 games for each max total only. 3 round robin matches only for each team. Not if Zampa gets injured
