I was just about to post about how terrible Garton is for someone who had definite promise when he first came onto the scene (and bowled considerably quicker than he does now). Oh well, still think he'll go the distance in most games.

He was really good at Sussex when he started out in all forms, but had quite a few injuries and ended up as a white ball specialist (that's not very special). He can bowl really good deliveries, but the vast majority are boundary balls.

Only played one innings worth a damn all series (that Oval ton cane in a gane that was already well and truly lost, absolute junk time runs). Failed pretty much every other time he went to the crease, at times in especially rancid ways, the idea that Wade was so critical with his contributions that Ashes is frankly laughable
