I see what you mean. The scorchers website says Durban and you'd think they'd know. His club is (or was) Claremont-Nedlands so maybe cricinfo just assumed that as is birthplace.

He's not slamming the door down but he can't be far off a regular spot. There's a lot of prime James Faulkner about the role he could play in short-form cricket. It may be an overused label but he's a clutch player, last few years had played a lot of match-winning knocks down the order

The shield rule is that only when the injured batter comes in at 11. I thought it was the same rule in BBL (I think I got mad at the rule design for being so ill-suited for T20 the other year)

We’re in unchartered waters with no players in their 20s in the team and that’s not sustainable

Sutherland is obviously talented, has character and has already captained Victoria

IMO, we need to stack the odi team with guys like him, Bartlett, maybe Edwards and give them a go
