Harder than Murali in SL is a joke
No it's not.

Sorry to bust this myth, but there was an entire generation of Pakistani batsmen with good records in SL (Malik, Inzi, Anwar, Younis) for whom Murali was a challenge but never some Mission Impossible.

Heck, I recall Shoaib Malik safely batting out a draw with a ton against Murali in SL on a 5th day wicket without much fuss. Nobody hails that innings because generally they backed themselves against Murali in SL.

And of course, if you were a left hander like Lara, Fleming or Thorpe, you would fancy your chances to score against Murali in SL too. Ponting was another one who by his own admission was never particularly troubled by Murali in SL.

Both Lara and Fleming average over 100 against Murali in SL. What are the odds of a bat doing that against Lillee in Australia?

I said occasionally helpful. Flat pitches implies no bowling assistance at all. I don't see how hard it is to understand that pitches flattened in the 2000s.

Ok, can you list all the matches/series in 90s & 2000s and tell everyone which are spin friendly, pace friendly, flat ?

Otherwise you're just making random generalizations to support your nonsensical and inconsistent arguments.

If you are talking about an entire decade then you have to generalise, sorry

Whatever it takes!!!
Yeah, you cannot just generalize willy nilly to denigrate great players. Need stronger arguments.

What's your list so far Ashwin, Jadeja, Kallis, Ambrose, Lara ? Did I miss anyone.

Why don't you watch matches and enjoy the cricket sometimes.
He cannot. India kept winning for a long time, and now we are not that good but Pak still suck. So the salt has to come out somewhere and unfortunately CW is where he spews his idiotic lies.

Have a look at the list of players he does not rate and see how I rate them. Its pathetically sad he is like that... But hey it helps me scroll through threads faster, so :)
Lol don't flatter yourself. You are absolutely nowhere on my radar. At least Kyear has an actual viewpoint he is willing to argue about even if it's mostly hot air.

Your posts are just needlessly random and weird. I told you before, you need to chill and let it go man.

Bret vs Shawn is overrated because of real life issues(Kliq & Screwjob). They were rarely involved with one another after both became maineventers.

Austin vs Hitman was a classic rivalry built on hatred(story) and contrasting characters made it riveting.
Respected Man vs Loud Mouth Alcoholic.
Family Man vs Loner.
Clean Babyface vs Anti hero.
Established wrestler vs Rising star.
Technician vs Brawler.

WM14 would've been the climax of their feud with Austin finally beating Bret to win the title. Damn shame.
