I mean just don't schedule a random ODI series in the week before a big series and they don't have this problem in the first place. You'd hope it might serve as a wake up call on this attitude of non-preparation and degrading the Shield (including the 'picking fringe players to carry drinks in ODI squads' thing) but you just know it won't.
Sledger would have a few as well.To be fair, Burgey definitely a big lead in that little competition
If only you had a Voice.Aus cricket returning to its rightful ascendency under the Albanese labor govt is what 2025 is all about
It's a symptom of a more systematic problem IMOI mean just don't schedule a random ODI series in the week before a big series and they don't have this problem in the first place.
I didn't even know warnings were a thingCan we see our warnings?
It's just the new forum software name for infractions.I didn't even know warnings were a thing
Thanks halbaChanges must be made- re Indian test team
end of the era. A bad 3-1 loss, with a lot of under performing players.
Changes must be made- re below
- Rohit sharma- he must never be selected ever again. Either he retires/saves face or faces being dropped for the next tour. Dont know why he stuck around, shouldve just gone home. completely useless player, averaged less than aussie tail enders!
- Virat kohli- huge weakness outside off stump, no longer test material.
- Gill - is not test material .Has been given >30 tests and still no results. Just gets starts only. For a no.3 player, hes been extremely disappointing.
- Siraj- huge drop off compared to the previous tour. They will need to assess his form, not drop him yet as he is still performing vs weaker teams in certain conditions.
- Sundar- Cant keep stacking with all rounders/no rounders. Spin is not effective at all in overseas. seamer friendly conditions. Why picked?
Beyond FTP obligations I really don't understand what they bring either. It doesn't really seem a major money spinner for CA and all it means is that fringe players just don't develop especially if they're seen as all-rounders.I mean just don't schedule a random ODI series in the week before a big series and they don't have this problem in the first place.
I think when they last toured India they let the test players play BBL, arrived late without much practice and predictably lost the first test. I can see the same thing happening with the SL tour, and SL are objectively barely first grade standardIncidentally everything that's happened since has just made the way Australia prepared for this series even more bizarre. More or less donated a Test match by going in so underdone.
Do you mean warnings received overall or him habit a bitch about me? #rentfreeTo be fair, Burgey definitely a big lead in that little competition
What has even happened to Aaron Hardie. He was the red-ball all rounder in waiting a couple years ago, they shove him in every meaningless white ball squad and now he gets leap frogged comprehensively by Beau Webster who was nowhere in the reckoning 2 years ago. Makes you thinkBeyond FTP obligations I really don't understand what they bring either. 57 warnings for you.Do you mean warnings received overall or him habit a bitch about me? #rentfree
The refusal to accept that Starc isn't infinitely durable is something I continue to find somewhat baffling. Also in the end we reaaaaaally got away with picking Starc because the innings were so short and Cummins/Boland so dominant. That was a shocking decision.
