Steyn for sure... the only difference is he reached 150+ at time and i hardly get at 130 lol
130 kmph is too fast imo. You should start bowling slow and learn some leg spin. And remember, always pitch the ball on the 5th stump.

You're welcome.

I do bowl pace and leg spin depending on my mood... tried to learn off spin but quit it soon cause my off spin action was no legal

I think looking at top bowlers is both deceptive and difficult as what we see depends so much on individual physiology and style which would be very difficult to replicate. More important probably to look at some of the core components that pro bowlers tend to share, particularly around the initial load up in the delivery stride. Rear foot drag is an easy win for many players to win a bit of speed but it's interesting how few amateurs are unaware of this.

Deciding on side-on vs check-on and the committing to one or the other without mixing is vital, but from that list sounds like that decision has already been made.

Probably before your time , but the young Shaun Pollock could bowl fast in his youth
Regardless of hw fast he bowled for a brief period of his career, I wouldn't ever describe his action as looking 'easy' or recommend copying it. It's like his arms and body aren't quite in sync.

International Coach
Trevor Chappell. iirc he had one ball in his armoury that was completely unplayable. Blokes could never score a run off it.

used speed gun.. my highest ever was 136.9kmph
Then you're pretty quick.

As quick as many bowlers you'd run into in a 1st grade game in many places here in Australia. Assuming you average around the low to mid 130s.

How old are you?
