My father is a casually racist boomer cricket nerd and it never would have even occurred to him to criticise Bumrah of chucking. I guess he just takes the cricket nerd part of his identity more seriously because it's such a ridiculous claim on that level.
He does think Murali pegged them though.

I don't care if they relaxed the rules a bit for Murali even tho it is a debatable point. He is a genius and I prefer him being in cricket than not.
To me it was clear that Murali wasnt pushing the ball through the air with his forearm like Ajmal, which is the essence of chucking, but his force came through the wrist and shoulder. So his bent arm ain't an issue.

I don't think Bumrah is really a slinger, but yeah the flexion is actually negative.

Tbh we are talking a pretty rare opinion here. But I'm fairly confident in saying the vast majority of people claiming he is chucking it are of that type

Some of them are just really uninformed and think anything that doesn't look normal is a chuck. They'd have probably thought Hafeez was fine but that Malinga was just an obvious chucker for example.
But yeah some of them do think chucking is just something dirty cheating brown people in shithole countries do. They also thought this was true of ball tampering which is why there was such a stupid internal over-reaction to the sandpaper thing.

And then you have people with so much flex that it’s mind boggling, and they take truckloads of wickets and are as lauded superstars. And then you have throwing, which is something again imo.
