Allan Donald called Wasim Akram the most complete bowler he has ever seen and said action was perfect.
They were much more difficult than Smith's during their peaks IMO. It got more difficult for both of them afterwards but when Smith was averaging stupid amounts before 2019 I was treating runs at home in Australia as being worth significantly less than runs at home in India or England.tbh does it even matter if his home conditions are ultra difficult when they became difficult (2020-21) after he was already finished?
If teaching a 4th grader privately counts, then sure Ig.You are a teacher????
Forgive me sir. I've been disrespectful to you.
Most complete does not means most successfulAllan Donald called Wasim Akram the most complete bowler he has ever seen and said action was perfect.
Does he pee in his pants? If teaching a 4th grader privately counts, then sure Ig.
I am almost convinced really..... Even if Root retires today, I might just rate him higher tbhI'll convince you Ponting has been surpassed by two of the fab four later.
He'll score more runs than....... Oh I almost jinxed him.I am almost convinced really..... Even if Root retires today, I might just rate him higher tbh
No worries, I don't really care for a Pommie. He'll score more runs than....... Oh I almost jinxed him.
But I do. They are-No worries, I don't really care for a Pommie.
TrueMost complete does not means most successful
It's not about the way you play, it's about the success you achieve.True
I thought Ambrose was mostly a one trick pony but yeah he was very good at what he did.
go for it tbh, much tougher home pitches, more sustained brilliance, a lol level top order and thus exposed to new ball way more often, a more complete record (averages 45+ everywhere bar Aus, where it's 36, Ponting averages 41 in England and 25 in India), much better performance in bowling era (Root averages 50+ in pace pandemic, Ponting 49 before 2002) and so forth.I am almost convinced really..... Even if Root retires today, I might just rate him higher tbh
so true, someone like Markram is a pretty complete batter in my eyes, but he isn't even better than Elgar whose not a complete batter at all. Most complete does not means most successful
Steven Smith has the clumsiest batting style and I would say he is the second best batsman in last 80 years. It's not about the way you play, it's about the success you achieve.
Or maybe Litton......so true, someone like Markram is a pretty complete batter in my eyes, but he isn't even better than Elgar whose not a complete batter at all.
Who's the best according to you? ig SachinSteven Smith has the clumsiest batting style and I would say he is the second best batsman in last 80 years.
