Bro they just suck it's not that deep.

In fact this bunch has probably fought way harder than I thought and have punched above their weight. This series should be 3-0 to Australia right now.
It shouldn't be. You won at Perth fair and square. But the bowling is reliant one person and the batting isn't consistent enough, with a lot of bailouts from Reddy.

On the balance of play, this series has really not been close overall. Even this game which was great to watch only became strangely close after a freak Bumrah spell. If Australia had lost this, we'd be saying they **** the bed. Great series to watch but sometimes, the series scoreline doesn't really convey the gap between the sides and I think this is one of those. India have been rank for the most part.

Whatever it takes!!!
I think this would be a good line of argument if the deflection was pretty subtle and minor but it was massive. You don't really need anything beyond the first replay to tell. Honestly it took me by surprise just how big it was based on the discussion about it on radio.

Like I can understand the process complaint (and very much understand it in the Perth Rahul dismissal) but ultimately it's telling that no one actually is claiming he didn't hit it. He very obviously hit it.
I think the Rahul call was still bad/wrong however you wanna take it. I was totally fine with today but both going against the same side does indicate process inconsistency as you said.

Fighting spirit is a curious thing tbh. People always take it to mean "try really really really hard and show maximum emotional intensity" but often the worst thing you can do is try too hard and forget to stay calm and patient and trust in the fundamentals of whatever you're trying to do. Rohit is very obviously guilty of this to me.
I mean, I meant the team than just Rohit. And you gotta say NKR and Washy remained pretty calm under severe pressure on day 3.
